So why would I put Home Depot promotions on my site?  When it comes to home improvement, with all things being equal, most customers tend to go with the lowest price.  However, having the lowest price doesn’t mean you are getting the best value.

Why do you shop at your favorite supermarket? Maybe you like the people who work in the store. They are friendly, courteous and helpful.  You may think supermarkets are all about price but if that were true we would all be in the Dollar Store buying markdowns and clearance potato chips. To compete in the marketplace, prices have to be fair, service has to be acceptable, and products must be in stock and delivered on time.

For me, the distinguishing factor has to be customer service.  I am not going to convince you to shop Lowes over Home Depot simply because I work at Lowes.   Both stores are highly successful and fiercely competitive making it hard to pick a favorite based on price alone.

Although prices at Home Depot and Lowe’s sometimes fluctuate, they’re often exactly the same, and the differences typically are slight. In the end, the overall experience you get for your money will often return you to Lowe’s for the best product selection, customer service and value for your hard earned dollars.

And don’t forget Amazon for some great deals on items not sold at Lowes or Home Depot.
